That’s exactly what the disposable Alcotest alcohol tester does – it gives you a quick and easy way to know if you’re ready to get behind the wheel safely.<\/p>\n\n

How does the disposable alcohol tester work?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

“Alcotest is a compact tester that measures the concentration of alcohol in your breath. It works by chemical reaction – changing colour when alcohol is detected in the breath. A reagent in the middle of the tube reacts with the exhaled air and the result is visible after 2-4 minutes. <\/p>\n\n

The test measures blood alcohol concentration starting at 0.2\u2030<\/strong>. The test has an accuracy of 99%<\/strong> and is certified according to the NFX 20-702 standard<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

How to use? Step by step: <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

  1. Wait at least 20 minutes<\/strong> after your last drink.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Press both ends of the tester firmly<\/strong> to break the safety film.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Take a deep breath and blow air into the tube twice<\/strong>, each for about 10 seconds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Wait 2 to 4 minutes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Compare the result with the colour scale<\/strong> on the packaging.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    If the tester shows a colour change, this indicates the presence of alcohol above 0.2\u2030. It is best to make the comparison in daylight. <\/p>\n\n
